Contactless provides pre-event online registration management and virtual payment solutions. They also provide registration stations, fully equipped with talent to manage mobile and on-spot registration, as well analytics and demographics of attendees, and small, medium and largescale events.
Serial entrepreneur Ahmed Fawzi, can-do manager Muhammad Abdalzaher, and engineering entrepreneur Faraj Abdulla put their skills together to develop the idea of Contactless as a registration solution for corporate clients, venue owners and event planners. They felt they could cut queuing time by up to 70%, monitor the volume of visitors entering and exiting in real time, capture information including attendees’ engagement and profiles, and provide real time visual data to help manage events proactively and organize teams effectively.
All strongly needed by the events organising community. But to make a business, you need a space, an organisational structure, finances, and strategic planning.
Contactless launched in September 2014. Now, the fledgling business already counts among its past clients the RSA Conference (800 attendees), the Arab Water Conference (1,200 attendees, including dignitaries), the Qatar International Boat Show (12,000 visitors; audited and confirmed by KPMG), and the Arab Social Media Forum (250 attendees), where Contactless received an award for providing excellent fast and efficient registration.
Contactless is on the way up. It’s a long way from those first conversations between the three founders.
